Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to show you
one of the most emblematic buildings in Bilbao: The Guggenheim Museum. Designed by the famous
Canadian architect Frank Gehry, the Guggenheim is one of the most spectacular
museums in Europe. The curved face of the building represents a huge, plated
boat. It is a spectacular building, and we are proud to have it in our city.
The Guggenheim Museum
has a permanent collection of modern art pieces and houses different temporal
art collections arriving to Bilbao. The museum itself is a piece of art, and
it has become one of the most recognizable symbols of our city.
Bad weather has
returned, so it is time to wear coats and boots again. I think that
printed coats are original and very wearable at this time of year. I have
combined mine with burgundy boots and a black studded bag.
I hope you enjoyed
this post and have a nice week!

ResponderEliminarThank you!
ResponderEliminarYou are right, I have seen pictures of New York's Guggenheim Museum and actually it is quite different from our Guggenheim. But overall, the modern aesthetic that characterises Frank Gery's architecture is there in both. Thanks for reading!
